Favorite Images of 2025

For almost fifteen years, I have always enjoyed being out in nature with my camera. As I look back, the volume of photos taken varied widely from year to year. And I have noticed a trend that the amount of photos I have taken has diminished over the last few years. There are a few reasons for this, I suppose. Regardless, in looking back at the images of I took in 2025, it came to me that I need to curate those into my ‘best of 2025.’

With limited time to go out and photograph this year, most of the images are from multi-day trips. I recognize that 2026 needs to be a year where I carve out more time and energy for photography closer to home. There is beauty all around us, not just in National Parks.

So here they are, in no particular order.
